detached pointed collar - mod floral
A little trick for your outfit. This is a detached collar (or technically a 'dickie') meant to layer, peaking out from under a cashmere knit. Super pointed daggar silhouette like they used to wear in the 70s. Elastic straps to keep it comfortable and laying flat. Button up as desired, so works with tons of necklines.
Our entire vintage-fabric-womenswear collection is made using textile remnants dating 1930-1989, meaning each piece has zero impact on the environment and is what we like to call few-of-a-kind™. We only found enough of this silk blend (circa 1970s) to make 3 collars! Ethically made in NYC by our legendary seamstress. BTW our sizes may run slightly small. This best fits a 33-37 inch bust in S-M, and 38-42 in M-L (and check out our made-to-order page if we're sold out or if you'd like something custom).
*Please note, our upcycled vintage-fabric pieces can be delicate, and the content not always guaranteed. Dry clean only— or try lazy washing: spot-clean, pat odorous areas with vodka, and place in the freezer for a day.
