This is a non-medical-grade face mask (generic ‘women’s’ size) made using cotton/cotton-blend vintage fabric from 1930-1999. Each is handmade in downtown NYC, and embroidered by local NYC artist, activist, and embroidery expert Juliette Kessler. Over 50% of every sale goes directly to Juliette— each mask embroidery takes her over 4 (!) hours, probably while listening to the Spice Girls.
Please note: these are sometimes made-to-order by Juliette and can take up to one week to ship out. Also, due to the nature of the product and current crisis, these are final sale. Reusable and washable— wash cold and hang dry. Lastly, these masks are for an extra safety measure and do not replace washing hands/avoiding touching your face. Follow guidelines from your local government as always.
