chelsea skirt - kitchen print
Straight out of the 60s. This is a super high-waisted A-line mini skirt. Cut for the most flattering fit with a cinched waist and wide hips. Slightly longer in the back for style and comfort. Back zip closure. Unlined. Wear with a knotted vintage tee and square toe kitten heels. Matching scrunchie included (and matching mask available)!
Our entire boutique line is made using vintage fabric remnants dating 1930-1989, meaning each piece has zero impact on the environment and is what we like to call few-of-a-kind™. We only found enough of this mediumweight cotton fabric (circa 1950s) to make 16 skirts! Made in NYC by our legendary seamstress. BTW these skirts run smaller than our usual sizes, so size up if in between. For a perfect fit, measure the smallest part of your waist— these best fit a 23 inch waist in XS, 25 in S, 27 in M, 29 in L, and 31 in XL (and if we're sold out or you'd like something custom to your measurements, check out our made-to-order page).
*Please note, these materials were upcycled from pre-consumer vintage textiles, aka a fancy way of saying recycled. This means the fabric can be delicate, and the content not always guaranteed (our specialists assess). Dry clean only (some 100% cotton skirts can be washed cold & hung dry)— or try lazy washing: pat odorous spots with vodka/place in the freezer for a day.
