astoria kimono - 90s red patchwork
A jacket for when it's not cold. This is a boxy T-silhouette open jacket that flounces in the back. Kimono-inspired. Finished longer-length grunge short sleeves and wide hems. Throw on over one of our camis and mini skirts at night after a warm day in the sun. Matching scrunchie included!
Our entire vintage-fabric-womenswear collection is made using textile remnants dating 1930-1989, meaning each piece has zero impact on the environment and is what we like to call few-of-a-kind™. We only found enough of this lightweight fluid silk-poly blend (circa 1990s) to make 6 jackets! Ethically made in NYC by our legendary seamstress. BTW our sizes may run slightly small. This top best fits a 33 inch bust in S, 37 in M, 39 in L (and check out our made-to-order page if we're sold out or if you'd like something custom).
*Please note, our upcycled vintage-fabric pieces can be delicate, and the content not always guaranteed. Dry clean only— or try lazy washing: spot-clean, pat odorous areas with vodka, and place in the freezer for a day.
