astoria kimono - teal ivy

A little something. This is a open jacket, featuring a kimono-inspired T-silhouette, flouncy center back, and grunge long-length short-sleeves. Super versatile: throw on as a cover-up over a bikini at the beach, layer as a pop-of-colour over a fitted turtleneck in the winter, or style over our camis and mini skirts on a summer night. Matching scrunchie included!

Our entire vintage-fabric-womenswear collection is made using textile remnants dating 1930-1989, meaning each piece has zero impact on the environment and is what we like to call few-of-a-kind™. We only found enough of this fabric (probably 100% silk, circa 1970s) to make 2 jackets! Ethically made in NYC by our legendary seamstress. BTW our sizes may run slightly small, but this style is very forgiving and meant to fit oversized. Check out our made-to-order page if we're sold out or if you'd like something custom.

*Please note, our upcycled vintage-fabric pieces can be delicate, and the content not always guaranteed. Dry clean only— or try lazy washing: spot-clean, pat odorous areas with vodka, and place in the freezer for a day.
