three sweater trends to try this winter

The best part of winter is that it is officially cashmere season. When curating our vintage cashmere collection, we thought about which three looks to focus on. These three stood out!
P.S. Why does cashmere make the perfect gift? It's soft enough for even the most sensitive person, super fancy and luxurious, and sizing almost never matters, as knits look good both fitted and baggy! Though we completely understand if you're too in love and decide to keep the gift for yourself.

Recently we've been obsessed with wearing cardigans as tops, buttoned up and tucked into belted vintage jeans or leather pants. Fortunately 100% cashmere (especially our high quality vintage stuff) is totally soft enough for skin contact!

Go from day to night by throwing one over a dress instead. They're probably the easiest trend to wear. And of course the goal of winter style is to look cute while staying warm, so score. Below are a few of our favourites <3

A major trend in 2019 has been balloon sleeves. Why not wear the trend in kni form? We managed to find a few identical units of this perfect 90's balloon-sleeve sweater. We have them in all the essential neutral colours: a charcoal grey, off-white bone, and taupe. The mother of pearl button details on the sleeves make these sweaters fancy enough for work event or a dinner party. And obviously, the turtleneck makes it a timeless classic. Perfect for freezing cold winter days. Wear one under your winter jacket paired with an array of layered necklaces— you will be one of the rare few who manages to look cute in the freezing cold. Shop it here.

Who doesn't love the idea of pieces that you can wear in more than one way? Another trend we are obsessed with is wrap sweaters. Knot in the front for a cropped look, perfect to wear with a mini skirt. Or tie in the back for a ballet-dancer inspired look. The perfect complement to the head-to-toe black normally worn in the cold, we love this perfect winter-white one below:
